IssueSummary//When selecting this part for R&R the current Audatex labor allowance is 6.5 as a mechanical labor operation. In our opinion this time is not sufficient to complete this operation. We have looked this up in in Alldata and found the labor allowance to be 7.4/8.2 depending on which tranny is in the vehicle.

SuggestedAction//Please review the current database labor information related to the R&R of this part and increrase labor allowance to be more in line with the actual time required.

Resolution:
We have reviewed the current OEM service procedure for the TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY (GN
0777). The labor allowance has changed from 6.5 hours to 8.1 hours before option conditioning
or overlap considerations. The change will appear on the May 2010 release.
