Audatex: Rivet Gun Set Up

OEM repair procedures may require the use of specific riveting equipment for panel attachment.  OEM procedures may also specify performing a test panel for rivet bonding before panel attachment may begin.  Rivet gun set up is NOT INCLUDED in Audatex published labor times. Audatex treats this process in the same way as “Welder set up” and is NOT included per section 4-2 in Audatex DBRM.  Additional considerations for rivet gun set up could include the number of C arm and rivet die changes required during panel attachment.
