Question:  When you are refinishing an exterior
sheetmetal panel, is the time to mask the gap opening between the adjacent
panels included in the Audatex refinish time?

Answer:  Yes, Audatex’s refinish time includes the
time to mask, (e.g., backtaping or use foam tape), in the gap opening between
the adjacent panels, however the time to mask the interior surface and/or jambs
is not included. Refer to section 4-5 Refinish Operations – Included and Not
Included Operations list – Protect interior surface and jambs.
