Subaru has released service bulletin 17-18-23 updating repairers that one-time-use mounting clips and spacer clips for air bag curtain modules are now available for the
following vehicles:

2015-22 MY Outback & Legacy

2018-22 MY Crosstrek

2019-22 MY Forester

2019-22 MY Ascent

These clips
are now available for repair situations. The bulletin states “previously, these clips were not available separately requiring the curtain module assembly to be replaced if the clips were removed.” This is especially important for R&I scenarios.
